Passage to India opened in 1993 and is nestled alongside Riverfront Park and the Susquehanna River. The restaurant was opened by Leena Shenoy and late-husband Vishnu. Since then, the restaurant attracts folks of all ages from all over the region.
Passage to India's interior allows you to immerse yourself into the Indian culture. The multi-space restaurant includes a dining room, bar, and a banquet event hall.
Starting 2nd January 2019, Passage To India will be offering a newly revised Menu as we have been frequently asked about some of the more popular and contemporary items across the US. We request your feedback during this period to continue to improve our Menu. As we continue this continue journey if you are one of our regulars since the inception and would like to request a particular item that you loved the most, please do not hesitate to ask the waitstaff for that and we will gladly accommodate that request.
After considerable feedback and suggestions, Passage To India will be offering a Vegetarian Thali and Non-Vegetarian Thali from Tuesday-Thursday and we will have our elaborate buffet from Friday-Sunday. Both of the Thalis will serve 3 items, rice, papadam, dessert along with freshly made Naan on demand. As usual, we will continue to provide our great Salads, Dressings, Condiments during the lunch buffet. And as always, you can continue to order a-la-carte during Lunch if you please.
As we continue this journey, please provide us with your valuable feedback, so, we continue to be the best Indian Restaurant in Central PA.
